Emma lives at the intersection of aerospace engineering, leadership, international humanitarian and human rights justice, and peace advocacy.
She has been involved in multilateral peace processes and grassroots civil society mobilization.
Founder & Exe. Dir., Advocacy Network for Justice & Peace (ANJP), a member of the International Criminal Court coalition, advancing accountability, self-determination, and the gendered dimensions of conflict resolution.
Emma has written about conflict in three forms: author of UNRAVELED, peer-reviewed scholar on Sub-Saharan conflict and international law, and participant in peace negotiations.
In The Voice Beneath the Noise, a guided workbook, Emma writes about the conflict that has been running in the background of your life like a tab you never close.
Her novel, The Sisterhood, a novel coming soon, draws directly on firsthand observation of a decades-long organizational fracture across three continents.
